Teachers
from each building run
a program called Dress
for a Cause. Although
each building runs the
program a little
differently, the basic
idea is that teachers
donate money each
month for various
charities within the
community by paying to
dress a certain way.

The
Northeast Regional
Cancer Institute
hosted a dress down
day on March 31st
to raise awareness
about colorectal
cancer.
Roslund Elementary
school staff members
purchased t-shirts or
pins, raising over
$300 for C.A.S.U.A.L.
(Colon Cancer
Awareness Saves
Unlimited Adult Lives)
Day, with all proceeds
going to the Cancer
Institute to raise
awareness about
colorectal cancer risk
factors and the
importance of
screening.
