Routes
Rails to Trails
80 + miles of mostly flat paths with
a slight uphill gradient going north. Conditions vary from a smooth and
packed sand surface to regular mountain bike worth terrain. Many
interesting features include rocks, flora, animals, cliffs, streams and past and
current history are found here.
Prompton Dam State Park
A long and narrow secluded lake.
It is 2.5 miles in length.
Good for all activities with a beautiful surrounding trail system.
Susquehanna River
The Susquehanna is a dark mysterious
river surrounded by thick forests and deep countryside. Most of these waters are
class A with some Class I and II.
Delaware River
The Delaware is a clear and rocky
river. It often reflects blue sky and has many different types of water.
Class I to II+.
Streams and Feeder
Rivers
Numerous streams and feeder rivers
feed into the Susquehanna and Delaware. These winding waterways are often quaint
and roll through forest and farmland. Class I to II+
