The
Tunkhannock Public Library is a center of activities for the entire county.
The
Community Room is used by
countless organizations for their meetings. In addition, there are
concerts and seminars held there that are open to the public. The weekly
list of events is posted in the lobby and can usually be found on our online
calendar.

The Library is famous for its Schedule of
Summer Programs for children.
Reading and spending time at the Library is definitely a cool thing to
do. The schedule for summer programs is usually announced around the
middle of May. Informational flyers will be distributed to all of
the area elementary schools, as well as the fifth graders in the middle school.
Watch here on the website for an early look at what will be available.

There is always a fund-raiser in
the works at the Library. By participating in one of the
events such as the
Wine
Tasting, Golf Tournament,
Fall & Spring Book Sales
or the
Christmas Show, community members can support the work of the
Library and have fun, too.
