On behalf of the Tunkhannock Public Library I want to thank everyone for participating in any and all of our library fundraisers. The State requires us to spend at least $5 per capita (that is, per each person living within the boundaries of Wyoming County) of locally generated money annually in order to qualify for State Funding.  All of the proceeds from our fundraisers help us to meet that requirement. 

     The Library plays an important role in the quality of life in Wyoming County.  Last year we checked out over 130,000 items and 506 events took place in our Community Room.  We had a schedule of free programs and classes for children.  With computers for public use, books and audio/visual materials for all ages and a book delivery service to 22 locations in the County, we strive to provide free and convenient access to a wide range of information, education and entertainment. With your help, we can continue to be strong and successful.
